Crestwood was a World War I training camp known as Camp Logan, which was subsequently repurposed for residential use and developed. The land was originally brought and later sold by Will and Mike Hogg from Houston in the 1930s. By the 1940s, builders started construction on the lovely residences in the community. The old houses were updated and replaced with larger ones in the 2000s as demand for real estate increased in Houston. Nowadays, the 127 homes in Crestwood serve as one of Houston’s most expensive neighborhoods due to its strict deed restrictions and exquisite selection of single-family homes.
